Lois Harriet Patton, 61, of 1201 Lane Ave., died at 7:40 am Tuesday in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis.
She was employed at Western Electric at Indianapolis until her retirement in 1976. She moved to Crawfordsville from Indianapolis three years ago. She was a 1944 graduate of Newtown High School.
Mrs. Patton was born near Wallace on Feb. 22, 1926, to Omer and Opal Myers Allen. She was married July 24, 1945, to Roland Patton. He died July 30, 1975.
She is survived by two sons, Joe of Anderson and Jim of indianapolis; a daughter, Deborah Pratt of Indianapolis; two brothers, Loren Allen of rural Crawfordsville and Darrell Allen of Hillsboro; four sisters, Juanita Andrews and Hazel Allen, both of Clinton, Evelyn Pirtle of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Marvin (Barbara) McBee of Linden; and five grandchildren.
A brother, Glen, died in 1963.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 am Thursday in Wolf Creek Cemetery located south of Wallace. Junior Haas will officiate. There will be no public calling at the Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
