After her marriage, she moved to Casper, Wyoming where her husband worked as a brand inspector. The couple later moved north of Douglas, where they operated the family ranch ( 6,769 acres of ranch property located north/northwest of Douglas in Converse County.) She continued to operate the ranch until her death.
In 1970 she embarked upon a new occupation as a real estate agent. She enjoyed this career until her retirement in 1995. She was very active in the community and around the state.
She was a member of and trustee for St. James Catholic Church, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Converse County Cowbells, Converse County Zonta Club (holding many offices and was Zontian of the Year in 1996), Douglas Sorority, Converse County Republican( holding the office as State Committee Chairwomen, and attending three National Republican Conventions), Converse County Committee Woman's Association for 34 years, Converse County Group Home board, Farm Bureau, Wool Growers Association, and the Wyoming Stock Growers Association, as well as many other activates.
Lucille is survived by daughters Kathleen Ann Combs Lore & Bridget Michaela Marie Combs Paich; grandchildren, Michaela Eolyn Lore-Klausmeyer, Brendan Aaric Lore, Alexis Kelly Paich, Taylor Rade Paich, Lucas Kanez Paich, and Quintin Barrett Raymor Paich.
