Frederick Rites Will Be Monday

A. C. Frederick, former resident of Fairfield who lived at 202 North B, passed away at 2:30 a.m. today in the Passavant hospital in Chicago.

Last rites will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the First Methodist church with the Rev. James W. Dendler in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body will be taken from the Raymond funeral home to the church Monday.

A. C. Frederick, 84, was born Jun. 18, 1881, at Pleasant Plain, Iowa. He was married April 8, 1903, at Fairfield to Elizabeth Greeson, who passed away March 11, 1959.

Frederick, a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist church, had been a resident of Fairfield for 20 years before moving to Chicago several months ago.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Rogers Hornsby and Mrs. Bonnie Liggett, both of Chicago, and one granddaughter, Mary Beth Porter, Chicago.

Plan To Attend Frederick Rites

Mrs. Rogers Hornsby and Mrs. Bonnie Liggett, both of Chicago, will arrive in Fairfield Sunday to attend the funeral of their father, A. C. Frederick, who died Friday (sic. Saturday) in a Chicago hospital. Mrs. Hornsby will be accompanied by her daughter, Mary Beth Porter, also of Chicago.

While in Fairfield they will be guests in the home of Mrs. Harry Cook, 104 E. Hempstead. Friends of the family may visit them at the Cook home.

Rites for A. C. Frederick will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Methodist church. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
