Also known as BBWT (Bertie Bertie the Wonder Terrier) Bertie was a beautiful tri-color soft coated Jack Russell Terrier. I didn't pick her out as a puppy - she picked me out when she came and sat with her back to me in the front yard of the Wilson's home in Versailles Pennsylvania. She was faithful companion, loving and loyal. She never destroyed anything that wasn't her toy, and even then she was rather gentle with them.

Her mother's name was Liz, and her father was Pogo. She was part of Leslie Rothaar's first JRT litters. She was, we believe the last survivor of her litter.

Survived by loving owners and little "brother" Rocky who misses her.

Bertie received exceptional care throughout her life from Upper Arlington Vet Hospital and from TriVillage Animal Hospital. She was also familiar to the folks at MedVet Columbus who treated her for her allergies.

Little girl, you are forever in my heart and I miss you every day very, very much. There will never be another in my heart as you were.
