Lucretia Dunkin was the daughter of Peter and Margaret Dunkin. Married to Reason/Rezin Mobley in Coweta County, Georgia, on February 23, 1832. One daughter died early, three sons were lost in the Civil War. Her two surviving sons, Hezekiah and Joseph, moved to Texas after the war.

Lucretia is believed to be buried beside Reason, although no marker exists. Her death is noted in the early records of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
