Claude Wilkes Kinzer, age 22, died this morning at 6 o'clock, at the home of his mother, Mrs. Minnie Hughes Kinzer, widow of the late W. J. Kinzer, at Sawdust Valley, after an illness of three months. Besides his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Josephine and Elizabeth, and two brothers, Will and Hughes Kinzer. Deceased was a member of the Methodist church and the funeral will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Mt. Nebo by the Rev. Dr. William B. Ricks. -- Columbia Herald, 05 Oct. 1917.
