Young Schwemm, who was an apprentice in the shop of Walgren Printing Co. at that address in some manner became caught between the two doors of a freight elevator and was crushed to death. It is believed that he was killed instantly. There were no eye witnesses to the accident, which is believed to have occurred between 1 and 1:30 o;clock. His body was discovered by another workman in the building. Schwemm had been employed by Walgren Company but three weeks.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 1:30 at the house and at 2:00 at the Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. H. L. Buthman will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
