Willard Schwemm, 16 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. August Schwemm of 213 W. Main Street, met a tragic death in an accident in the Arcade building at 32 South Clark Street, Chicago, Tuesday.

Young Schwemm, who was an apprentice in the shop of Walgren Printing Co. at that address in some manner became caught between the two doors of a freight elevator and was crushed to death. It is believed that he was killed instantly. There were no eye witnesses to the accident, which is believed to have occurred between 1 and 1:30 o;clock. His body was discovered by another workman in the building. Schwemm had been employed by Walgren Company but three weeks.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 1:30 at the house and at 2:00 at the Methodist Episcopal Church. Rev. H. L. Buthman will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
