Alice M. Langland, age 87, of Riverview, Mich., formerly of Menomonie, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2001, at the Rivergate Convalescent Center after a long illness.
She is survived by five children, Jerry (Barbara) Langland of Taylor, Mich., James (Cindy) Langland of Menomonie, Dennis (Lynette) Langland of Monroe, Mich., Mrs. Edsel (Ruth} Powell of Drummond Island, Mich., and Mrs. Rob (Lois) Manigold of Old Mission, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. James (Ila) Paty of St. Cloud, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Norman, two sons, one daughter, one brother, and one grandson.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at the Bennett Funeral Home in Monroe.
Services are also scheduled at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2001, at the Little Elk Creek Lutheran Church of rural Menomonie. Burial will be Thursday in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the Little Elk Creek Church Building Fund or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
