The newspaper obituary is not entirely correct. Bill had worked in Florida, surveying land, during the 1920's. When his father had a stroke in the early 1930's, Bill moved back to Menomonie for several years. By the mid-30's he was living in Florida part of the year and part of the year in his parent's home, Menomonie. He began living in Florida year around in 1952. Bill didn't marry until 1972. He and "Myrt" had a happy marriage.
