SOURCE: Obituary - The Boonville, Indiana Enquirer - June 9, 1939: Mrs. Margaret E. (Lutz) was born at Westheim bei Germersheim, Rheinphalz, Germany on October 7, 1849. She came to Boonville with her family in 1866 and was united in marriage to Jacob Freundlich in 1867. When she was 43, her husband passed away. She lived in Evansville a number of years, later going to St. Louis to make a home for her sons. She lived with her daughter, Emma, of Webster Groves, Missouri until her death. The body was brought to Boonville and services were held at St. John's Evangelical church on June 3 with burial in Maple Grove cemetery. She was survived by one daughter, Mrs. R.J. Josenhauns (Emma) of Webster Groves, Missouri and four sons;Jacob, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri, Philip A. of St. Louis, Missouri, Jule W. of Dallas, Texas and Otto L. of San Francisco, California.
