Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Douglass of Mullinville, Kan., former Shelby countians, observed their fifty-third wedding anniversary Friday. Both Mr. and Mrs. Douglass were born in Shelbyville. She was born at the late Elmer Frye farm northeast of here. She is 76 years old and he is 78. They visited relatives and friends here this fall.
