Maries Co MO Gazette, 1 Mar 1928 - Aunt Martha Baker, wife of James Baker who passed away about 14 years ago, mother of 9 living children and about 137 grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, died at her home near Seaton, about 5 miles northwest of here, at the ripe old age of 95 years. Her son Ed was their youngest child and always lived with them and took care of them in their old and declining years. She was buried at Seaton Monday. It was the largest funeral of relatives that ever attended a funeral in this community with many othe friends. She united with the church in her early days and lived as a true christian. Rev. Pontias delivered a very beautiful and impressive discourse.
