Mr. Elliott was born July 9, 1928 in Winchester, Virginia the son of Valley Elizabeth Elliott. He worked and retired from J Solenberger Company after 30 years. He was a member of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in Winchester, Virginia. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was married to Gladys Washington Elliott for 60 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory with his wife of Winchester, Virginia, five daughters, Linda Jackson of Cleveland, Ohio, Barbara Walker of Winchester, Virginia, Anna Curry of Hagerstown, MD, Narcissus Shields of Winchester, Virginia, Felicia Boles of Charlotte, N.C.; four sons, Robert Jackson of Tempe, AZ, Larry Elliott of Winchester, Virginia, Rudolph Elliott, Jr. of St. Roberts, Missouri, and Jonathan Elliott of Sterling, Virginia; 32 grandchildren and numerous great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be Monday March 23, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in Winchester, Virginia with Advanced Presiding Elder Clarence Miller officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour before service at the church.
Pallbearers will be ministers of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob.
Burial will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park with Military Honors afforded by the Winchester VFW # 2123
