Mary Elma Decker Cochran
Mary Elma Decker Cochran, 66, was born Sept. 1 1876 near Mound City, Mo., and died Monday at a rest home in Kearney.
She was one of nine children. In January of 1896 she was united in marriage to George M. Cochran at Kanona, Kan., who preceded her in death in February 1946. They lived on a farm near Traer, Kan., until 1926 when they moved to McCook. She was united with the Baptist Church when a young woman. In McCook she was affiliated with the Pilgrim Holiness Church.
Survivors include a sister, Addie Thomas of Wauneta, a brother, Walter E. Decker of Araphone, and several nieces and nephews."
