MCEACHRAN -Mrs. Martha McEachran, 81, Fountain Terrace Nursing Home, Loves Park, died at 12:10 p.m. Saturday, July 25, in Highland Hospital, Belvidere, after a long illness. Born Oct. 3, 1888, in Argyle, Ill., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Andrew. Lived all her life in Argyle, moving to Belvidere in 1946. Married George McEachran in Argyle Oct. 21, 1921. Member of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church, Willow Creek, and of the Women's Association of the Church, Home Bureau. She was educated in Brown School, Argyle. Survivors include: a son, Russell, Caledonia; one grandson, Ronald, Belvidere; a granddaughter, Linda Sue, Caledonia. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Charles Andrew.
Services at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in WHITBECK-WHEELER-SABIEN FUNERAL HOME, Belvidere, with Rev. Lester Reemstma pastor of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church officating. Burial in Scottish Cemetery, Argyle. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Monday until service time. A memorial has been established at Willow Creek Presbyterian Church.
