"Horace E. Sturgis, eighty--one, died at his home, 409 E. Main St., Lititz, yesterday at 3:15 p. m. after an illness of two weeks. He was a resident of Lititz all his life and was a carpenter by occupation. He was a member of the Moravian Church. Besides his widow, Kate Kline Sturgis he is survived by these children: Olive, wife of David Rickert, Lexington; Morris K., Lexington; William H., Lititz; Ella, wife of Arthur Campbell, Wrightsville; Verona, of Springfield, Mass.; Kathryn, wife of George McCauley, Lancaster; Horace E. Jr., Elstonville, Pa., and Evelyn, wife of John Dutko, Trenton, N. J. A brother, Albert O. Sturgis, Nazareth, Pa., and a sister, Verona, wife of Wesley Brookhart, Lititz, also survive."
