Rev. Plummer was very active in Polk County, Iowa and other areas of Iowa for a number of years. Then they moved to Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado, where he continued with his ministry, but also became very well known in the agriculture of that area (especially in orchard fruits).
Following Rev. Plummer's death in Fort Collins in 1901, Grace eventually moved to Denver and spent the rest of her years in her daughter's home there.
