Thomas Marshall "T. M." Howard, 87, of 502 Tolar Rd., passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Marshall M. and Elydia Anna Phillips Howard. Mr. Howard was retired from Cryovac, was an Army veteran of WWII with the 3rd Armor Division-Tank operator, and was a charter member of Foothills Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Elnora Looper Howard; daughter: Wanda Howard Bishop; son: Thomas A. Howard and his wife Leah; grandchildren: Jonathan T. Bishop, Joshua B. Bishop, Reagan E. Howard, and Payton E. Howard.

He was predeceased by a brother, William E. Howard, and two sisters, Nancy E. Jones, and Sara E. Haddon.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary. Funeral service will be Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel, with burial to follow at Grand View Memorial Gardens.
