Ella L. Bryant Mason City -- Ella L Bryant, 96, 1037 19th St. S.W. died Tuesday (Oct 24 1989) at IOOF Home, Mason city of natural causes. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 209 Second St. N.E. with the rev. Paul Boostrom of First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.to Eli and Adela Visitation is from 2 p.m. today and until time of services Saturday at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Bryant was born Dec 13, 1892, in Otho, to Eli and Adela (Sutton) Ford. She was married to William H. "Bill" Bryant on April 13, 1912, at Lehigh. They lived on a farm near Lehigh for a number of years. In 1932 they moved to Clarion. They then moved to Mason City in 1940. She was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Mildred) Livingston and Mrs. John (Clarice) Christensen, both of Mason City; Mrs. Larry (Enid) Buss, Des Moines, and Mrs. Henry (Alice) Faulkner, Riverside, Calif.; seven sons Keith E., Weslaco, Texas, William H., Branson, Mo, John Del, Wichita, Kan., M. Neil, Newton F., Bertram J. and James D., all of Mason City,; 29 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in April 1972, one son and four grandchildren.
