Mrs. Kathryn Schmeltz, aged 79, died Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Pinneo, at Mishawka. Those who survive are three sons, Arthur and Otis of Madison Township, and Cecil of Mishawaka; five daughters, Mrs. Charles Pinneo, Mrs. Joe Doyle, and Mrs. Will Austin of Mishawaka, Mrs. Jacob Motts of near Osceola, and Mrs. Ed Zeigler of Madison Township, 39 grandchildren, one brother, John Crull of Franklin, Ind., six sisters, Mrs. Edna Longdorf of Elkhart, Mrs. Barbara Crull, Mrs. Esta Zeigler and Mrs. Leo Cradler of Mishawaka, also two sisters of Denver, Colo. Mr. Valentine Schmeltz died about 35 years ago on the old homestead in Madison Township. The funeral will be held at the Osceola Church of the Brethren Tuesday afternoon
