Memorial services for Arthur E. Richerson, 69, of Muskogee, OK will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, June 11, 2010 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Mr. Ronald Tatum officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee. Mr. Richerson was born April 6, 1941 at Webbers Falls, OK, the son of George A. and Lillie M. (Simpson) Richerson and died Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Muskogee. On Ocober 14, 1966 he married Juanita Johnson in Muskogee. He served his country in the US Air Force and worked as a physical therapist at the Veterans Administration Medical Center for 39 years and 11 months. He was a member of the American Legion and a lifelong resident of the area. Survivors include his wife, Juanita of the home; daughter, Melissa Gant and Jamie of Muskogee; two sons, Tracy Richerson and Susie and Clif Richerson all of Muskogee; two sisters, Faye Walker and Dale, Blanche Hensley and Bill all of Muskogee; two brothers, Terry Richerson and Chi, Gary Richerson all of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; brothers-in-lw and sisters-in-law, Toni and Ronald Tatum of Bixby, Ginger and Steve Burczyk of Henderson, KY, Alfred Lee Johnson of Muskogee, Jimmie Johnson and Elizabeth of Wainwright. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Roy, Robert, Kenneth and Jimmy Ray Richerson; sister, Debbie Taylor and brother-in-law, Jerry Taylor.
