The deceased was born in Chesterfield, S.C. She had been a resident of this parish and a loyal member of the Methodist Church here seven years before her death.
N. L. Horton, her husband, and the following three daughters and two sons survive her: Mrs. Warren Curry, Winnfield; Mrs. Fletcher Hancock, Port Arthur, Texas; Mrs. E. E. Vail, Bessemer, Ala.; Jack Horton, Shreveport; Robert Lee Horton, Monroe. Two sons, Carl Horton and George Horton, preceded their mother in death.
