The funeral was conducted by Dr. R. E. Joiner, pastor of First Presbyterian church, directed by by George J. Carroll with interment in Fairview cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by five sons, J. W. Mitchell of Beever, Okla.; G. E. of Mallard; D. H. of Bowie; J. R. of Dallas and T. P. of Hardy; five daughters, Mrs. J. M. Herrington of Sapulpa, Okla.; Mrs. Minnie Payton of Gainesville; Mrs. W. Weaver of Lubbock; Mrs. Alice Martin of Sapulpa, Okla.; and Mrs. L. L. Gadis of Borger; a sister, Mrs. Esther Howard of Cross Plains; and a brother, Charles Erwin of Colorado, Texas; thirty-four grand children and four great grand children.
