Wanda Pearl Howard, a resident of Sulphur, was born April 7, 1928 in Davis, Oklahoma to Frank & Alice (Hunt) West. She passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 1 month and 26 days.

She was married to Virgil Jack Howard at Gainesville, Texas on December 6, 1951. He preceded her in death December 18, 2006.

She lived most of her life in the Murray County area where she attended school. She lived in Wynnewood several years & worked at State School in Pauls Valley for 24 years as unit supervisor. She lived in Ardmore before moving to Sulphur. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother & 4 sisters.
Survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Billy Joe & Cheryl Howard, Sulphur; sisters, Ella Mae Stout, Sulphur; and Iveas Pruitt, Sulphur; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren,
Services: 10:00 AM Monday, June 7 at DeArman Funeral Home Chapel Wynnewood, with interment in Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood.
