Molly Lucille Carroll Heaberlin, 87, of Grayson, Ky., went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 3, 2010, at her residence surrounded by family and friends.

She was born January 4, 1923 in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Willard and Jennie Gill Carroll.

Lucille was a seamstress, homemaker and a member of the Grayson Church of the Nazarene where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She loved her flowers and vegetable gardens and had a quilting bee with the women of the church. She owned a 22 caliber riffle, in which she was a great shot. She was a blessed person with a very kind, gentle and compassion for her family.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Jensen Heaberlin in 2003, one granddaughter, Jerri Lynn Pennington, one grandson, Lowell Lee "Buddy" Waugh III, four brothers, Charlie Carroll, Willard Carroll, Donald Carroll and Curtis Carroll, three sisters, Mary Eddy, Jewell Fite and Edna Newland.

Her survivors include: four daughters, Mary and her husband Jess Pennington, Karen and her husband J.D. Damron, Charlene "and her husband Lowell Waugh and Patricia and her husband Tommy Dalton all of Grayson; three sons, Phillip Heaberlin, James L. and his wife Judy Heaberlin and Kevin Heaberlin all of Grayson; two sisters, Blanche Flury and Ruby Gollihue both of Grayson; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Vail of Pueblo, CO., and Isabell Heaberlin of Mansfield, Ohio, 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with James Harris officiating. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday after 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
