Alisandria "Lisa" DiRaimo Marucci, age 89, of Erie, died, Tuesday June 1, 2010 at Saint Mary's at Asbury Ridge. She was born June 19, 1921 in Erie, a daughter of the late Paul and Domenica Mastrog DiRaimo.
She worked as a manicurist at Lena's Beauty Shop. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was an avid card player with her friends and family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Shoney" Marucci; two brothers, Donald and Paul DiRaimo and three sisters, Mary Maggio, Rita DeSanto and Rose Stork.
She is survived by one daughter, JoAnn Bucarelli and husband Gladimiro "Bucky" of Erie; one sister, Sandra Kooken and husband Don of Lake City; four grandchildren, Rosina Jones and husband Brian, David Bucarelli, Lisa Bucarelli Abbate and husband John and John Paul Bucarelli all of Erie and two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Justin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Friday at noon followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 12:30 p.m.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
