Arthur "Art" Crowther, 85, Roxbury, died Tuesday at the Bethany Home in Lindsborg, KS. He was born Sept. 5, 1897, in Salina, KS.
He was a retired farmer and cattleman and had lived his entire life in the Roxbury area. He was a member of the Roxbury United Parish Church.
His wife, Marie, died in 1980.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth and Robert A., both of Roxbury; four daughters, Marjorie Dauer of Falun, Joyce Becker of Gypsum, Sue Rupert and Connie Ash, both of Lindsborg; a sister, Jeanette Burch of McPherson; 20 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Roxbury church. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Roxbury.
