Rochester Youth Succumbs Here
Donald Ray Booth, only child of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Booth of Rochester, died in a local sanitarium yesterday, at 2:45 p.m. He was removed to the hospital Saturday morning from the home of an uncle, C. L. Hilburn, 1130 North 8th street, where he had been under treatment for several days.
The body is to be placed aboard the Texas & Pacific train this morning at 9:40 o'clock for transportation to Mingus. From there it will be taken overland to the home of the child's paternal grandmother, Mrs. A. J. Booth, at Thurber, where funeral rites will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made at Gordon.
The lad has been ill for 10 days. Elliot's Funeral Home had charge of the local arrangements.
