STEPHENVILLE (RNS)--Joseph Edward Booth, 73, died at 4:50 a.m. Thursday in the Stephenville Hosptial, where he had been a patient three weeks.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Gordon Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Caldwell, pastor of Riverside Baptist Church, and the Rev. Ronnie Armstrong, pastor of Gordon Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in New Gordon Cemetery under direction of Trewill-Reed Funeral Home.

Mr. Booth was born Sept 23, 1898, in Gordon and married Eva Owens July 29, 1918. He was a retired manufacturer and had been a resident of Stephenville four years.

Surviviors include five sisters, Mrs. Ida Coleman and Mrs. Clara Hooper, both of Ranger, Mrs. Lillie Hilburn of Odessa, and Mrs. Rose Watkins of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Gayle Lawson of Hep, N.M.; two brothers, Will of Chicago and Sam of Arlington.
