GEORGE VENDORN PACE

BOUNTIFUL -- George Vendorn Pace, 75, of Bountiful died Monday at his home of causes incident to age.

Born July 25, 1867, at South Bountiful, he was the son of Edwin and Mary Jane Brown. On February 14, 1893, he married Catherine Rampton in the Logan Temple.

A retired farmer he had been active in the LDS church, where he served as an elder in his ward with the exception of three years spent at Gunnison, from 19lO to 1913, he had always resided at Bountiful and South Bountiful.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Pace of Bountiful; two sons, Walter V. Pace, former superintendent of Cudahy Packing Company at North Salt Lake; Kenneth M. Pace, of Bountifui; one daughter, Mrs. Lawrence P. Eldredge of Sunnyside, Wash.; six grandchlldren; one great-grandchild; one brother, William Pace of Nampa, Idaho; five sisters. Mrs. F. B. Smediey, Mrs. B. C. Holbrook, Mrs. Ira C. Holbrook and Mrs. Parley P. Willey, all of Bountiful, and Mrs. Benjamin Lowder of Orem.

Funeral services will he conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Bountiful Tabernacle by G. Evan Taylor, bishop of Bountiful First LDS Ward. Burial will be at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery at Salt Lake City, directed by the Union Mortuary at Bountiful.
