E.C. Vance married Norma Gean mullen on 20 December 1961 at Loving, Texas.

Mr. Vance moved to Bryson in 1992 from the Loving community. He was a retired pumper in the oilfield and a member of the Loving Baptist Church. He was a veteran.

Survived by his wife; two daughters - Louana Jennings and Krisia Jean Robinson; one sister - Mary Lea Dickson; one brother - Harry Vance; three grandchildren.

Pfc. Edward C. Vance, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Vance, Loving, attended Loving Schools. Entered Marines in 1945, trained at Parris Island, S. C., Camp Lejeune, N. C., and Camp Pendelton, Cal. Served in USA. Awarded AT Ribbon.
