Mrs. Vance married H.C. Vance at Jermyn, Jack County, Texas on 15 December 1914. She moved to the Loving community in 1914. The couple lived in the Graham most of their lives.
Survivors: husband; daughter - Mrs. C.E. Dickson; two sons - Gene Vance and Edward Vance; four brothers - Earl Davis, Everett Davis, Elbert Davis, Elgin Davis; six sisters - Mr. Edna Dennis, Mrs. Nora Flowers, Mrs. Grace Dunn, Mrs. Bessie Padgett, Mrs. Ruby Ledbetter, Mrs. L.C. Adkins; three grandchildren.
