Agnes, 'Aneska Fedora' was the name the Catholic priest Natardus used when recording her church marriage to Rudolph Vanek in 1914. The same name appears on her civil marriage license in Lavaca Co., TX. After significant research, it was found that Fedora was the middle name of her father, who came from the old country of Moravia, Austria, CZ in 1873. In the area of Novy Hrozenkov, CZ there were so many families by the name of Orsag, that the custom of identifying large branches was to use the name of the previous house owner. This process was called "name after cottage" until middle names became commonplace. Several of Agnes' sisters were identified in the same manner.

Agnes Irma Orsak was Christened on 4 Nov 1894 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, Fayette Co., TX. Agnes was married to Rudolph 'Rudy' Vanek on 20 Oct 1914 at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Praha, Fayette Co., TX.

Agnes' Godparents were Jan Vanek & her maternal grandmother Marta 'Martha' Hajek Olsovsky.

Agnes & her husband Rudy were farmers, had seven children and took care of her parents in their golden years, Agnes living to age 95.

*Fedora is the village name that designates a separate Orsak branch in the old village of Novy Hrozenkov, CZ.
