A funeral service for Mona Faye Mummey, 68, of St. Louisville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home with the Rev. Ric Harvel officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.
Mrs. Mummey, who enjoyed working with ceramics and spending time with her family, died Dec. 13, 2000 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 19, 1932, in Rocky Fork, to the late James and Eva (Wright) Keaser.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Paul Elwyn Mummey, whom she married Oct. 15, 1951; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Sharon Mummey of Newark; daughters and sons-in-law Deborah and Gregory Howe of Utica; Patricia and Steve Wright of Newark, and Linda and Larry Carnes of Utica; sisters, Lena Banks of St. Louisville, and Kathryn Roe of Newark; brother, Oliver Keaser of St. Louisville; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James L. Mummey, brother Leslie Keaser and sister, Mary Roe.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark.
