Mrs. Banks, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Selma Markowitz Care Center. She was born May 30, 1918, in Licking County, to the late James and Eva Belle (Wright) Keaser.
Mrs. Banks was a lifelong resident of Mary Ann Township and a member of Rocky Fork Church of Christ. She married her late husband, Harrison Banks on May 29, 1936.
She is survived by five daughters, Mary (James) Noblick, of St. Louisville, Sue Paxson, Shirley (Larry) Bevard, all of Newark, Beverly (Bob) Dithomas, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Gale (Rick) Parrish, of Bonaire, Georgia; six sons, James (Mildred) Banks, of Newark, Kerry Banks, Frankie Banks, Phil (Nancy) Banks, all of St. Louisville, Dale (Sally) Banks, of Utica, Gene Banks, of Martinsburg; sister, Katherine Roe, of Newark; brother, Oliver Keaser, of St. Louisville; 29 grandchildren, Ken, Dean, Rod, Christy, Patsy, Jamie, Rick, Shelly, Tammy, Cheryl, Stacey, Stephanie, Sandy, Chris, Pam, Patrick, Don, Wendy, Crystal, Clayton, Kelly, Jason, Matt, Sabrina, Lena, Laura, Ladona, Terry, and Sarah; 42 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents; and her husband; she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Banks; grandson, Randy Banks; two sisters; one brother.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
