Bonnie Ellis McBride

Mrs. Bonnie Ellis McBride, 64, 2940 Gage, died Saturday in a Topeka hospital after a short illness. She was a retired beautician.
She was born Jan. 29, 1915, in Coyville, Kan., the daughter of M.A. and Stella Trimmell.
She was graduated from Fall River High School, and was graduated from Venus Beauty School, Wichita, in 1933. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and Oasis Club, both at Ottawa, and the American Association of Retired Persons.

She was married to R.O. McBride June 15, 1940, in Independence. He died May 31, 1972.
She had been an Ottawa resident from 1945 to 1973. She retired as a beautician in 1970.
Survivors include one daughter, Suzanne Bundy, 5008 Cedar Crest Road; her mother, Stella Trimmell, Fredonia; five sisters, Mrs. Lucille Berckfeldt, Pueblo, Colo., Mrs. Ruby Bunce, Slymar, Calif., Mrs. Marjorie Stone, Derby, and Mrs. Verna Lea Shaffer and Mrs. Joyce Tindle, both of Fredonia; four brothers, Luther Trimmell and Dale Trimmell, both of Fredonia, Victor Trimmell, Wichita and Bill Trimmell, Neodesha; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Ottawa. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa. Mrs. McBride will lie in state at the Ottawa funeral home from 4 p.m. Sunday until service time. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of Topeka arrangements.
