THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, February 15, 1961, p. 4: "IKE DRIGGERS. Ike Driggers, 72, formerly of Delta County, died Tuesday at 9 p.m. at Lamar Medical Center, where he had been a patient since January 29. A retired carpenter, he lived here at 310 George Wright Homes, having moved to Paris two or three years ago. Funeral services in Cooper will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, and burial made in Oaklawn Cemetery by McDonald Funeral Home there. Surviving is his wife, the former Miss Lucille Cauthen; three children, Bobby Driggers, Ft. Sill, Okla.; Patsy Lou Driggers and Bettie Jean Driggers, both of Paris; a brother and seven sisters."

Paris News Service COOPER — Funeral services for Ike Driggers, 72, of 310 George Wright Homes, Paris, were conducted Thursday at First Baptist Church here, by the pastor, the Rev. Robert E. Jenkins, and the Rev. Crowley Bridges, Paris and McDonald Funeral Home of Cooper. Mr. Driggers, who had been a carpenter, died late Tuesday in a Paris hospital after illness. Surviving is his wife, formerly Miss Lucile Cauthen; these children: Bobby Driggers, Ft. Sill, Okla.; Patsy Lou Driggers and Bettie Jean Driggers; a brother, Will Driggers, Paris, and these sisters: Mrs. Lula Carr and Mrs. Dianne McCarty, Cooper; Mrs. Carrie Hylton, Camden, Ark.; Mrs. Bettie Pierce, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Lettie Hamilton, Dallas; Mrs. Rosie Smith, Hot Springs, Ark., and Mrs. Mattie Simpson, Wichita Falls."
