PRICE-- Barbara Clerico Koncher completed her life's journey on June 28,2000.

She was born Dec. 8, 1927 to Albert and Screlda Jolley Clerico in Helper, Utah and was a lifelong participant of Carbon county. She was a member of the Soroptomist Club International, Carbon County Chamber of Commerce, Women's Political Action Committee, Humane Society. She also served on the Board of Directors for Head Start, the Ann Self Training Center and the Job Corps. She owned and operated the Pintus Motel and worked as a secretary for various businesses throughout the area.

She is survived by her three sons: T.R. and Barbie Koncher of Discovery Bay, Calif.; Shelley and Sandy Koncher and Lance Koncher all of Grand Junction, Colo.; and three grandchildren: Chad, MacKenzie and Travis. Also survived by her mother, Screlda Clerico of Price; and a brother, Richard Clerico of Hollywood, Calif.; and many friends by whom she well be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her father Albert.

You are all invited to celebrate Barbara's life at a memorial services at Pioneer Park on Sat. July 1st, at 11 a.m. under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.

The family requests that if desired, donations be made in memory of Barbara Koncher to the Carbon County Humane Society, 1419 Valley View Drive, Wellington, UT 84542.

The family thanks all of you who made her life so rich and helped her in her final days.
