She was born September 5, 1911 in Green River, Utah to Carmen and Teresa Vetere Spadafora. Married Stanley Crocco, August 12, 1927 in Price; he died December 14, 1948. Member Catholic Church, St. Anthony Parish, Helper, Utah. Clara was active in the Altar Society, Ministry to the Sick, Women's Group and named St. Anthony Woman of the Year. Member Sorella D'America Lodge #31. Longtime resident of Helper where she was very active in the community.

Survived by daughter, Rose Marie Star, Helper; son and spouse, Stanley and Barbara Crocco, Vancouver, B.C.; sister, Yolanda Bruno, Helper; brother, Adolph Spadafora, Green River; daughter-in-law, Sophie Humphreys, Salt Lake City; six grandchildren, Tom, Debbie, Paul, Gena, Lawrence and Mitchell; two great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Natalie. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and a community of dear friends. Preceded in death by son, Louis; grandson, Matt N. Star; son-in-law, Matt Star; sister, Rose Also; brothers, Frank and Tony Spadafora.

Funeral Mass Saturday, June 13, 1998, 10 a.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helper. Vigil service Friday evening, 7 p.m. at the church in Helper. Family will be at the church Friday and Saturday one hour prior to services. Committal service, Price City Cemetery, under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home, Price.
