Miss Loula Smith, 48 years old, sister of the late Clint B. Smith, postmaster at Berryville, who died at his home here New Year's day, died here Saturday morning after an illness of about two weeks with influenza, which developed into pneumonia. Miss Smith had been assistant to her brother in the post office for the last six years. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the local Methodist church by the pastor, Rev. C. C. Burton. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery here beside her brother.

Miss Smith was born in Madison county near Huntsville and moved to the Pleasant Valley neighborhood near Berryville when a young girl. She resided there until she and her brother took charge of the post office here.

She is survived by four brothers, Dr. G. W. R. Smith, College Park, N. M. and C. K. Smith, Blue Jacket, Okla., both of whom were at her bedside during her illness, Joe L. Smith, Seattle, Wash., and Oscar Smith of Berryville.
