Henry Theodore Boese was born on July 6, 1857 in Germany. He came to the United States in 1872, at age 15. He was naturalized in 1882. We assume at this point that he immigrated with his family. We did hear from one of his daughters that he may have immigrated with a brother and had a cousin with the last name of Shmeidting in Missouri. He died on May 30, 1928, at 2:25 pm. He lived at 4043 Blaine Ave. in the 18th Ward, City of St. Louis, Missouri. He was a retired railroad fireman. The name of the railroad was not given. His obituary states that he was a brother-in-law. His second wife, Francis, at the time did have 2 sisters and 2 brothers living.

He was buried in the St. Paul's Church Yard in St. Louis, Missouri on June 2, 1928. The undertaker was E. J. Schmur of 3125 Lafayette Ave, in St. Louis, Missouri. Cause of death was Cerebral Hemorrhage.
