Adam died on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center. He was born on Aug. 12, 1968, in Lubbock, to Francisco and Hortencia Acebedo. He married Laurie Ramirez on Aug. 12, 1995, in Lubbock. He worked for Lubbock Power and Light for 12 years; after leaving LP&L he was an installer for Sudden Link Cable. He was a big Dallas Cowboy fan. He was Pentecostal.
Survivors include his wife of Lubbock; a daughter, Megan Acebedo; his parents, Francisco and Hortencia Acebedo of Karnes City, Texas; six brothers, Fernando and Al Acebedo of Lubbock, Freddie Acebedo of Oklahoma City, Okla., David Acebedo of Ft. Worth, Danny Acebedo of Kenedy, Texas, Jessie Acebedo of Karnes City, Texas; two sisters, Eva Escobar of Del Rio, Texas, and Terrie Moreno of San Antonio.
