In 1870 Peter Heck had in house Malissa Taylor age 17 and was living in Unity Twp next door to Benj Harrold and William Heck. We believe Malissa Taylor was his grandaughter, the d/o James Taylor and Eliza Heck who married Hiram May b 1838.

I have Sophia,,,I think! But I have yet to determine where she is buried. She had married Abraham Hasnest and then a Adam Smith. She died 15 March 1900 in Andrews Indiana, yet our info is that she was born 6 December 1842.~~mark
