Wife of William Lafayette Clement, married Oct. 8, 1861, Crittenden Co. KY.
Daughter of George Williams and Eliza Wallingford-Williams.

Mrs. W. L. Clement, 96, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elbert Lucas, near Dam 50, Friday. Death was attributed to infirmities caused by advanced age. Mrs. Clement was one of the oldest residents of the county and had lived her entire life in the community in which she did. The former Nancy Williams married William Lafayette Clement, who preceded her in death several years ago. She was one of the most respected matrons in the county and community and active for many years in civic affairs. Despite advanced age she remained active attending to many household duties for many years and was to retire at any time. Funeral and burial was at Mt. Zion.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. H. E. Wathen and husband, Horace and Mrs. Elbert Lucas; three sons, Dr. John, George L. and Kosiusko.
