After an illness of two years duration, death came to Miss Ida Clement, early Monday morning, at the home of her mother, near Dam 50.
Miss Clement, who was 72 years old, was a daughter of W.L. and Nancy Clement, and was born in this county in the neighborhood in which she died.
She is survived by her aged mother, two sisters, Mrs. Eb Wathen and Mrs. Elbert Lucas, of Clementsburg; and three brothers; Kosciuko Clement, of California; George Clement, of Louisville; and Dr. John Clement, of McLeansboro, Ill.
Miss Clements' death followed within twenty-four hours, her return from a hospital in Iowa, where she had been for some time. She made the trip in an ambulance accompied by her niece, Mrs. Wallace Rankin.
