PRICE - Tain Theron Clark, 89, loving spouse, father and grandfather, passed away July 24, 2004 in Price.

Born July 23, 1915 in Altonah, to Alvah and Nora Mecham Clark. Married Nellie Darlene Spencer Nov. 23, 1936 in Vernal and later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple.

A member of the LDS Church, Tain and Darlene were temple workers at the Manti LDS Temple for many years. A farmer at heart, he enjoyed anything to do with horses and cows.

Survived by wife, Darlene; children, Betty and Earl Curtis, Salt Lake City; Alva "Smokey" Clark, Theron "Chub" and Vera Clark, and Jerry "Muggs" and Valynda Clark, all of Wellington; Connie and Kent Norton, Price; Shirley and Larry Lopan, Boulder City, Nev.; 29 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by three sisters, Mae Bell, Sandy; Lamar Richins, Colo.; Faye Ross, Nevada; and three brothers, Dave Clark, Vernal; Ray Clark, Henderson, Nev.; and Clarence Clark, Nevada. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Barbara; and Clarence Clark, Nevada.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 28, 11 a.m., at the Wellington LDS Stake Center. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fausett Mortuary in Price, and at the LDS Stake Center one hour prior to services. Burial, Price Cemetery.
