Clarence Carter Dies at Wyoming

Wyoming, July 3—Clarence Carter, 67, a resident of Wyoming for 28 years, died at 8 a. m. Saturday at his home. He had been ill several weeks.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. CST Tuesday at Cox Memorial Home, Wyoming. The Rev. Stanley Geiselman, pastor of the Wyoming Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery. Visitation will be at the memorial home after 2 p. m. Monday.
Born in Elizabethtown, Ky., Nov. 18, 1887, he was the son of Squire and Nannie LaRue Carter. He married Mona West Aug 29, 1914.
Mr. Carter formerly was employed by the City of Wyoming.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Garland Carter of Wyoming and Emmett Carter of Modesto, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Dobbier of Manlius, Mrs. Nellie Ketner of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Ella Skwas of Hodgenville, Ky., two brothers, Herman Carter of Wyanet and Leonard Carter of Dixon, and seven grandchildren. Three brothers preceded him in death.
