ALMA — James Adams, 80, of Alma died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, in a local hospital. He was a retired truck driver for Worth-James Construction Company and Pacific Rubber in Seattle and was a Baptist. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; three daughters, Jamie Miller of Stanwood, Wash., and Jan Owens and Fran Hill, both of Alma; a son, Keith Adams of Lynnwood, Wash.; three sisters, Bernice Price of Alma, Lula Cook of Fort Smith and Ruby Dillard of Alma; two brothers, Don Adams of Alma and Drennan Adams of Spokane, Wash.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
