She worked in the office for many years at Wards Furniture Manufacturing but left to help her husband, Ray Williams with their rental property. Ray died in 1987. Bernice married Glen A. Price, a longtime mutual friend in 1989.
Glen died in 1999. Bernice was instrumental in the formation of the Boys & Girls Club in Alma, and also for the concession stand at the Alma swimming pool.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands; two sisters, Faye Rosebeary and Laverna Weese; and two brothers, Paul K. Adams and James Adams of Alma.
She is survived by two sisters, Lula Cook of Fort Smith and Ruby Dillard of Alma; and two brothers, Don Adams of Alma and Drennan Adams of Spokane, Wash.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren. In keeping with Bernice’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
