Mrs. Wagner was a service analyst supervisor for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. before her retirement in 1977.
She was born April 25, 1913, in St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of Barney and Caroline Dieker Leava. She graduated from high school at Sacred Heart Convent in St. Joseph, Mo., and also from St. Joseph Junior College in St. Joseph, Mo.
Mrs. Wagner was a member of Westside Christian Church in Topeka and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She had been a volunteer for the American Red Cross, Good Neighbors, Retired Senior Volunteer Program and Maude Bishop School.
She married Charles Raymond "Ray" Wagner Sr. on June 27, 1959, in Topeka. He preceded her in death Jan. 18, 1987. Mrs. Wagner also was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Merittia J. Wagner Chalmers, June 23, 1992.
Survivors include a stepson, Charles Raymond "Ray" Wagner Jr., Hot Springs, Ark.; two nieces, Mrs. Madelyn Kacmar, Lansing, Ill., and Mrs. Norma Thien, Cypress, Calif.; one nephew, Charles Ronald Leava, Gladstone, Mo., several stepgrandchildren; and stepgreat- grandchildren.
Mrs. Wagner was cremated. No services are scheduled at Mrs. Wagner's request. Entombment will be in the Chapel Garden at Mount Hope Mausoleum.
